THE HEART OF
A SERVANT

COMMUNITY SERVICE

What does it mean to serve?

The word “serve” comes from
the Latin root “servus” meaning “slave”.

We, who were once slaves to sin, have been set free through
Jesus’ blood and sacrifice to become slaves to righteousness.

As our Lord and Savior commanded us,
we serve one another and our communities,
so that in all things we do, the glory belongs to God.

JUST AS CHRIST
TAUGHT HIS DISCIPLES
TO SERVE

WE HUMBLY SERVE
ONE ANOTHER AND
OUR COMMUNITIES

BEING THE LIGHT TO OUR COMMUNITY

See where San Francisco Zion Church has worked!
Over the past 5 years, San Francisco Zion Church has worked with NGO’s, city departments, and neighborhoods,
to volunteer, clean, serve, and bring a smile to the faces of those who need it the most.

BE THE SALT AND THE LIGHT

When the body of Christ serves as an example for their community,
all the glory is given to our Heavenly Father.

As we serve, we think about the attitude of a servant Christ had…
As we care, we think about the love God has shown us…
As we help, we think about the mercy and blessings we have received.

Today, San Francisco Zion Church is proud to a church that values humanity,
and is carrying out the teaching to love our neighbors as our own selves.

SERVING THE COMMUNITY &
UNITING THE COMMUNITY.

Healing our communities is not a work that we do alone.
SFZC is proud to work in collaboration with
non-profit organizations and city departments to be there for one another.

We have been acknowledged for our excellent record of community service
by local cities, state departments, and even state legislation.
